Oct 26 3 Peaks Challenge in Memory of Beatrice Monkman

Matthew Marshall and Jake Davis will be tackling the 3 Peaks Challenge starting Thursday 26th October in memory of Matthew’s nanna Beatrice Monkman, a valued and well-liked volunteer for St T’s for many years.

Nov 10 Latimer Hinks Ball

The fabulous Latimer Hinks Charity Ball will take place at Wynyard Hall on Friday 10th November. Tickets are by invitation only.

Nov 14 Giving to Life Tree

The Giving to Life Tree will return to Darlington’s Cornmill Centre again this year from 14th November, offering people the chance to leave a Christmas greeting, a message to loved ones, or the opportunity to remember someone they have lost.

Nov 27 Carol Singing

Children from local schools and groups will be showing off their singing skills as they perform medleys of Christmas songs in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice. Drop in to Darlington Town Centre to get in the Christmas spirit!

Dec 02 Christmas Tombola

We will be holding our annual Christmas tombola from the 2nd – 23rd December (excluding Sundays). If you would like to volunteer on the stall or you wish to donate prizes, please call the Income Generation Team on 01325 254321. Tickets cost 4 for £1, all proceeds to St Teresa’s Hospice.

Dec 03 Hays Travel Charity Christmas Shopper

Join the Hays Travel annual Christmas shopping trip to Leeds on Sunday 3rd December in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice. Tickets are £15pp, 10am pick up from the Dolphin Centre. There will be a raffle and quiz on the coach, wine and mince pies will also be served.

Dec 03 Santa Run

Darlington Santa Run 2017 will take place at West Park Academy on Sunday 3rd December, and is all about having a bit of festive fun! Every participant will receive a free Santa suit, or a hat for children, and there is no entry fee for anyone under five, or for dogs. You can complete your circuit at your own speed, and as an early Christmas present you will receive a medal and refreshments when you cross the finish line!

Dec 08 Letter From Santa

Do you know someone who would like a Letter from Santa? For a suggested minimum donation of £5 we will provide a letter to your child from Santa, which they will receive by post in the run up to Christmas.

Dec 17 Light up a Life

Remember a loved one and support your local Hospice. St Teresa’s Hospice will be taking part in the annual Light up a Life appeal later this year, offering you the opportunity to celebrate the life of someone special to you.

Dec 23 Christmas Cracker Concert

On Saturday 23rd December we will be holding our annual Christmas Cracker Concert. Join us for a night of festive fun with audience participation, carols, choirs, soloists and our wonderful volunteer orchestra helmed by Musical Director John Forsyth.

Jan 06 Christmas Tree Collection

Real tree, fuss free! Enjoy your real Christmas tree, and we will collect it on Saturday 6th January for a donation in aid of your local Hospice, saving the mess in your car!

Mar 25 Steve Graham Everest Expedition

Darlington based mountaineer and long distance runner Steve Graham will climb Mount Everest in March 2018. As part of his 7 summits challenge, the Everest Expedition will raise as much money as possible for St Teresa's Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.

Apr 15 Bark in the Park 2018

We are inviting dogs and their well-behaved humans to join us on Sunday 15th April 2018, for our 3rd Bark in the Park at Darlington’s South Park. There is a £5 entry fee per dog, and each entrant will receive a rosette and a goody bag.

Sep 09 Great North Run 2018

If you would like to secure a place to run the Great North Run on 9th September 2018 and wish to raise funds for the Hospice please contact Supporter Services for more information and to be added to our expressions of interest list. All runners will receive a sponsorship pack, which includes sponsor forms and a running vest.
