Pirates & Princesses invited to Toddle for St T’s

This September we will be saying "ahoy mateys" and "greetings your highnesses" as we welcome entrants to our first ever Pirates & Princesses Toddle.

Children aged up to 11 are invited to take part in the sponsored stroll in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice, which will take place in Darlington’s South Park on Sunday 3rd September.

Walkers are encouraged to hoist the sail, get the carriage ready and prepare their costumes for a fun day out to make the most of the last weekend of the summer holidays.

In return for an entry fee of just £5, all young royals and buccaneers aged up to 11 who are registered by 12 noon Friday 25th August will receive a free picnic box, kindly donated by Café Zest at House of Fraser Darlington. Children aged 12 and over, and accompanying adults, can take part free of charge.

There will be prizes for the best dressed Pirate and Princess and after the walk there will be a picnic, games and entertainment.

The event will raise funds to allow St Teresa’s Hospice to continue providing vital free care and support to those with life-limiting conditions in South Durham and North Yorkshire.

Parents can register their children now by signing up online here.

The Toddle will start at 11am, with registration on the day opening at 10am.
