Celebrate 40 years of care with us by hosting a community ‘For-Tea’ event in July!

Join us for a delightful afternoon of tea, treats and community spirit while supporting local hospice care.

As St Teresa’s Hospice celebrates 40 Years of Care, we’re inviting you to be part of a special event that brings people together over tea, cake and conversation.

*Bookings will close on 29 June, so we recommend securing your place in advance to avoid missing out. We kindly ask that all attendees have a pre-booked ticket, as this helps us ensure the event runs smoothly and everyone has the best possible experience.

We encourage businesses, schools, community groups, clubs and individuals to host their own For-Tea event in July!

Invite friends, colleagues, or customers to enjoy tea, cake and conversation while raising vital funds for St Teresa’s Hospice.

  • By registering to attend the St Teresa’s Hospice Summer Afternoon Tea you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
  • They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and incorporate standards set by the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice.
  • Please note there will be photography at this event.
  • All participants must register in advance and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Entrants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent and be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.
  • Registration places are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All participants take part at their own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that you or your child (in the case of parents or legal guardians of child participants) are physically capable of completing the event.
  • You should consult your doctor before registering if you have any condition that may affect your ability to participate safely.
  • You must comply with all instructions from event staff and marshals and observe any signage and safety briefings.
  • St Teresa’s Hospice reserves the right to:
    • Refuse entry or remove any participant for safety or behavioural reasons.
    • Modify or cancel the event if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., adverse weather or public health risk).
  •  Please be respectful of local residents while you are on your route, which includes parking and not making any excessive noise.
  • St Teresa’s Hospice, its employees, volunteers, and agents accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage suffered by participants, unless caused by our negligence.
  • Participants are responsible for any property or personal belongings brought to the event.
  • Photographs and video footage will be taken during the event and used by St Teresa’s Hospice for promotional and reporting purposes (including social media and fundraising materials).
  • If you do not wish to appear in media content, please let us know at registration or inform an event official on the day.

  • In the event of cancellation by the Organiser, you will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Registration fees are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.

  • Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy, available at www.darlingtonhospice.org.uk/privacy-notice/.

  •  Information will only be used for event administration and to communicate with you about this event and relevant fundraising activities.

  • By registering for St Teresa’s Hospice Summer Afternoon Tea you confirm that:
    • You understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
    • You will comply with the Fundraising Regulator’s standards and UK law while fundraising.
    • You participate entirely at your own risk.
