St Teresa’s Hospice is entering its 37th year, and as we celebrate the history of the charity, we also want to take this opportunity to say how grateful we are for the tremendous support we receive from our community of supporters.
The Darlington & District Hospice – as we are officially known – began as a small group of volunteers supporting the local community, and it is the community that remains our biggest commissioner, with funds raised and donated by individuals and organisations making up the majority of our annual income.
Last year, donations to our annual appeal totalled more than £16,000! These funds contributed towards the day to day costs of the Hospice’s vital services.
With your help, we can continue to offer our free core services of Community Hospice, Inpatient Care, and Family Support & Bereavement Services.
