Birthday Appeal 2022

St Teresa’s Hospice is entering its 37th year, and as we celebrate the history of the charity, we also want to take this opportunity to say how grateful we are for the tremendous support we receive from our community of supporters.

The Darlington & District Hospice – as we are officially known – began as a small group of volunteers supporting the local community, and it is the community that remains our biggest commissioner, with funds raised and donated by individuals and organisations making up the majority of our annual income.

Last year, donations to our annual appeal totalled more than £16,000! These funds contributed towards the day to day costs of the Hospice’s vital services.

With your help, we can continue to offer our free core services of Community Hospice, Inpatient Care, and Family Support & Bereavement Services.

If you have donated to St Teresa’s Hospice before, thank you. You are making a real difference and we hope that we can rely on your ongoing support.

Please, will you consider making a donation to St Teresa’s Hospice today? Your gift will help us to sustain our services as we strive to recover from the pandemic.

If you wish to give a regular donation please Download our Standing Order Form.

Regular donations are vital to the Hospice as they allow us to effectively sustain services for those most in need. Thank you!

Every donation is really appreciated – please take a moment to read our Annual Review, which you can view at https://darlingtonhospice.org.uk/about-our-hospice/. Here, you will read first-hand accounts of what it has been like working during the pandemic, and from people who have directly benefitted from the care and support at St Teresa’s Hospice.

Your support makes this possible, and by making another donation to St Teresa’s Hospice today you can be the difference in someone’s life tomorrow.

Please give what you feel you can so that St Teresa’s Hospice will be able to continue helping people in urgent need.
