Gifts in Lieu
Some people wish to make a charity donation in lieu of a gift for a celebration or special occasion.
You can help local people with life-limiting illness when you celebrate a birthday, wedding or anniversary by asking for donations to St Teresa’s Hospice instead of presents from your loved ones.
You can create your own online fundraising page, which we can add to our events calendar. Then, all you have to do is share with friends and family and the donations will come directly to us. Alternatively, you can ask for donations on the day if you prefer, and we can give you St T’s collection boxes to use.

Don’t forget to Gift Aid if you’re eligible – we can claim another 25% back from the government!
Once we have received the donations, we can send you a thank you card to let you know how much has been raised.
