Moonlight & Memories 2025

Walk in memory of those we have loved and lost as our Moonlight & Memories Walk returns for 2025.

Join us in South Park Darlington, on Friday 10th October as we walk for those no longer with us.

Walk with us in the moonlight as you remember loved ones and help bring care to those who need us most.

New for 2025: Mini Moonlight & Memories

This year, we are adding a Mini Moonlight and Memories walk for children ages 2 to 10 years old, in addition to our main Moonlight & Memories walk for Adults and older children (11-17 years old).

The mini walk will take approximately 30 minutes to complete, and will include a treasure hunt along the way. Each child taking part in the mini walk will receive a goodie bag and a wooden memory star which they can write a special message on. Sponsorship forms will be sent out upon registration. Two adults can accompany each child on the mini walk for free. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

The Mini Moonlight & Memories will take place before the main walk on Friday 10th October 2025. Registration will open at 5pm, and the walk will begin at 5:30pm.

Moonlight and Memories Walk

Our main Moonlight & Memories walk is for adults and teens aged 11 to 17 years old. Under 5’s can attend the main walk for free, but will not receive a goodie bag if they haven’t signed up to Mini Moonlight & Memories.

The walk is under 4km and should take 45-60 minutes to complete, depending on your speed.

Every participant will be sent out a sponsorship form upon registration. On the day, you will get a t-shirt and a glow wand, and after the walk you’ll receive a hot drink to warm up!

When choosing your T-shirt, we recommend that you size up and wear it over your coat, as it may be cold on the evening.

By taking part in Moonlight & Memories, you’re remembering those most loved and are helping make a real difference to the support St Teresa’s can give to people in our area.

The main Moonlight & Memories walk will take place on Friday 10th October 2025. Registration will open at 6:30pm, and the walk will begin at 7pm.

Please help the event be the biggest and best yet by generating as much sponsorship as possible and by asking your friends, family, and colleagues to join us!
